The spokesperson of the Peter Obi-Yusuf Baba-Ahmed Presidential Campaign Organisation, Ndi Kato on Tuesday said that Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State is craving for attention with his maiden damning article about Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Governor Soludo’s Monday’s piece on Obi, his predecessor, has stirred reactions on social media.
The governor declared that Obi cannot win the 2023 presidential election.
According to Soludo, Obi is playing a game with his election bid and lacks the structure to win.
As expected, the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor’s criticism sparked a heavy backlash from Obi’s supporters, particularly on social media.
Kato also waded in, expressing the Obi’s team’s displeasure with the governor.
“It seems obvious that Professor Soludo is itching for limelight, in this election season, perhaps fired up by possible understanding or alliance with our struggling political opponents.
“While we note the glaring fallacies, misrepresentations, personal insinuations and signs of personal vendetta in that long writeup, neither His Excellency Peter Obi, The Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organisation, nor the Labour Party, for that matter, has any interest in an extended engagement with Prof Soludo this critical time when there is a bigger fish to fry,” the statement reads in part.
This man called Soludo is an enemy of progress that needs to be deal with in entire Igbo land any moment from now.
