‘You’re a failed, rejected politician’ – APC blasts Buba Galadima over remarks against Ganduje

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the recent remarks made against the National Chairman of its party, Abdullahi Ganduje by Buba Galadima.

Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in a recent interview said that Ganduje lacks any form of electoral value.

However, reacting to his remarks, Oliver Okpala, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment to Ganduje said Galadima is a failed and rejected politician without base.

According to Okpala, the NNPP chieftain’s political incompetence is clear evidence of the nonexistence of any relevance in the polity.

Okpala said it is unfortunate that Galadima can describe Ganduje – a man who governed a state as big as Kano state – as one without political relevance.

Okpala said, “We know Galadima’s garrulous and weightless antecedents and we are not surprised by his baseless claims.

“He was a well-known member of the Buhari Organisation but always preferred to take skewed positions, that made all attempts of the organisation to win election futile. Is that the kind of person who would determine who has electoral value?” Okpala queried.

He further stated that Ganduje is a tested leader of the APC with evidence-based results across Nigeria’s political landscape.

“Galadima’s antecedents show clearly that he should not be taken seriously.

“But Ganduje is a calculative, strategic and composed leader who knows his onions. He is not perturbed by the baseless claims of Galadima. He remains a political star in Nigeria’s political landscape,” he said.
