
The Minister of Aviation and Aero Development, Festus Keyamo has described Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as an undisputed leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Keyamo gave the description while welcoming Oborevwori who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
Leading a delegation of APC members to the Govenror, including Senator Ned Nwoko, Keyamo also informed the Oborevwori that they are ready to conform to the tenets of leadership following his defection.
“Your Excellency, we are here today as one unit, the gatekeepers of the party. These are the gatekeepers of the party in Delta State.
“Three Senators are seated here, the only member of the House of Representatives, the only seat we won, he is here. Outside this group in Delta state, there is no APC,” Keyamo said.
The minister stated that the decisions which would be taken in the state chapter of the party would be determined by the key individuals seated at the meeting.
He said Oborevwori’s defection to the ruling party is a blessing to the state, the APC, President Bola Tinubu, the people of Edo State and the good people of Nigeria.
He said, “As our leader, our undisputed in APC in Delta state, we wholeheartedly surrender to your leadership and ask for directions.”
