
Hanan, a daughter of the former president Muhammadu Buhari has penned down an emotional tribute to her late father.
In a photo post shared on her Instagram story, the photographer said her late father taught her what unconditional love feels like.
Recall that former president Buhari died on Sunday at the age of 82 after a brief illness.
He died in a London Hospital after which his body was repatriated to Nigeria in the company of the vice president Kashim Shettima.
Upon the repatriation of his remains, the late former president was buried in his home in Daura, Katsina state on Tuesday, July 15, with top dignitaries including President Bola Tinubu in attendance.
In her post shortly after her father’s funeral according to Islamic rites, Hanan said, “The pain of your absence is immense, but I’m finding strength in the love you gave me.
“You’re the reason I know what unconditional love feels like.
“I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to give you the final goodbye kiss. Alhamdulilah.
“Allahummaghfir Lahu Warhamhu Wassikinhu Fil Jannah Daddy am,” she noted.
In another post, she shared a photo of herself and her father in what appeared to be her graduation.
The story post read, “I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.”
