Zamfara: What bandits’ attack on military base means for Nigeria – Deji Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju, a former Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) New Media, says the attack by bandits on the military base in Mutumji, Zamfara State on Saturday “confirms” that President Muhammadu Buhari “has technically handed over Nigeria to terrorists groups”.

According to Adeyanju via his known Twitter handle on Monday morning, Buhari is not interested in defeating terrorism, rather he proritises clampdown on separatists.

Recall that armed bandits on Saturday attacked a military base in Zamfara State, leaving at least a dozen security personnel dead.

Further reacting to the incident, Adeyanju, a staunch critic of the Buhari administration wrote: “Buhari has technically handed over Nigeria to terrorists groups. The takeover of a military base yesterday in Zamfara confirms this. He is not interested in fighting insecurity but critics and the opposition. He hates IPOB & Oduduwa agitators so much but pampers terrorists.

“You will all see how Buhari will deploy 30,000 soldiers & police in an attempt to rig the Anambra elections but he ignores all the security challenges in the North. These bandits have brought down a military jet & killed many soldiers & citizens but he is not concerned.”

  1. Bandits attacking military base in the North with nobody to help? Are the bandits gradually becoming the law of the land. Is Nigeria been invaded? Who will save Nigeria?
