Despite the massive killings and kidnappings currently plaguing Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to hand over a secured Nigeria in 2023.
He gave this assurance while speaking in an exclusive interview with NTA on Friday.
“I will like to hand over a secured, confident and prosperous Nigeria to whoever succeeds me,” he said.
“This is very important because there are people (if not in Nigeria but outside) that are watching the development of developing countries.”
POLITICS NIGERIA has earlier reported how Nigerians have been living in fear following incessant killings and kidnappings across various parts of the country.
This newspaper discovered that no fewer than 200 people were killed in various violent attacks last week.
