2023: Fani-Kayode mentions region that should produce president

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, says Nigeria’s next president in 2023 should come from the middle-belt or south-east region — preferably the former.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Fani-Kayode who was speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today programme on Monday said his choice of middle-belt is because the region has “never had a democratically elected president”.

“If you insist on zoning, I believe it should go to a zone that has never had it before – the middle-belt has never had it, the south-east has never had it.

“The middle-belt has never had a democratically elected president, or a democratically elected vice president, while the eastern zone has had a democratically elected vice president,” he said.

For Fani-Kayode, one of the aspirants he deems to be most qualified to occupy the Aso Rock Villa top job is Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

“Great candidate,” he said at the mention of Bello whom he described as his friend. “It is a progressive thing for me.”

  1. FOREVER SENSELESS.

Question is how much the regions he mentioned contributed to the APC, in comparison to the SW?
Fani-Kayode wanted his co baby friend as president of Nigeria, so as to further mess up the country with their toddler ideas.
