As the 2023 election gathers steam, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, the running mate of Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has said he is a bonafide member of the party.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that following his emergence the Vice-Presidential candidate of the NNPP, a group alleged that Bishop Idahosa is not a registered as a member of the party, neither in Lagos State nor in his state of origin, Edo.
But when asked in a recent interview on Arise TV if the claim are true, he refuted it.
“Yes, I am a member. Of course, there is no way I can be a running mate without being a member of the NNPP. So, in straight terms, I am a member,” he said.
Bishop Idahosa is the presiding Bishop and the senior pastor of God First Ministries, popularly known as Illumination Assembly, Lagos, a church he started over thirty-two years ago in Minna, Niger State.
