Ex-presidential aspirant of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, Adamu Garba, on Saturday said Peter Obi may be a “project” of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, is one of the frontline candidates in respect of the 2023 election.
On Saturday, a large number of his supporters marched in Lagos, Kaduna, Edo, Akwa Ibom, and Delta states.
But reacting to the development, Garba taunted the ‘Obidients’ as supporters of the presidential hopeful are called, saying the same scenario could not play out in Eastern Nigeria region because IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN) “dominated southeastern states”.
The only state that is not rallying for Obidients is the IPOB controlled, ESN dominated south eastern states. I’m sure IPOB have no need because Peter Obi may be their project.
Else, he should come out faithfully and denounce terror of IPOB. Then organize carnival rally in Nnewi

So northerners are not sleeping but they are tolerant, any one from our region came out seeking for national assignment in politics will not be accepted by the northerners because we have not been sincere and the fear is that everyone will assume that Our candidate is for the division of the country rather than being Democrat
