Ex Anambra Governorship Candidate, George Moghalu, Dumps Labour Party [PHOTO]

Former Anambra State Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, George Moghalu, has officially resigned his membership of the party.

Moghalu announced his resignation in a letter shared on his verified X handle on Tuesday.

The letter, dated January 26, 2026, and addressed to the Chairman of Ward 1, Labour Party, Uruagu, Nnewi, stated that Moghalu’s resignation takes immediate effect.

“I bring you the good wishes of my family and formally inform you of my resignation from the Labour Party, effective today, the 26th of January, 2026,” he wrote.

He also expressed his gratitude to the party and its members for providing him with the platform to contest in the 2025 Anambra State governorship election.
