Ex-Benue Governor Suswam Officially Joins APC After Leaving PDP

Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Suswam marked his first activity as an APC member by registering at his Mbagber Council Ward in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

The former governor resigned from the PDP on Wednesday, citing the long-standing internal crises rocking the opposition party as the reason for his decision.

He said the persistent leadership and membership disputes within the party made his continued stay untenable.

Suswam noted that he considered his resignation the right decision at this time.
