Adamawa Gov Fintiri Reveals Real Reason He Parted Ways With Atiku

Ahmadu Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, has clarified the circumstances surrounding his political separation from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Fintiri explained that their divergence stemmed solely from differences in party affiliation.

Speaking during an interview monitored by Politics Nigeria, the governor stressed that despite belonging to different political platforms, he still maintains a cordial relationship with Atiku.

According to him, individuals who are genuinely committed to Nigeria’s development must see one another as partners in nation-building, noting that his current political position aligns with support for a southern candidacy.

He dismissed claims of any communication breakdown, insisting that political differences have not strained their personal rapport.

“There is no strained communication with the former VP as a result of political differences.

“I still have; there is nothing that has gone bad. It is just that everybody has taken their political ways. I am today in APC, they are in another party,” he said.
