Doris Uzoka-Anite reacts to appointment as Minister of State for budget, planning

Doris Uzoka-Anite has reacted to her redeployment as Minister of State for Finance to the new Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning.

Uzoma-Anite, formerly appointed Minister for Trade and Investment in 2023 was redeployed to the Ministry of Finance by President Bola Tinubu.

However, on Tuesday, March 3, she was redeployed for the second time to serve as Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning.

Appreciating the president for his gesture, Uzoka-Anite, in a post on X wrote, “I am honoured and grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for his continued confidence in me by redeploying me to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State.

“I am deeply honoured to serve in this new capacity, and I remain fully committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda and the delivery of measurable outcomes for Nigerians,” Uzoka-Anite wrote.

Also congratulating Taiwo Oyedele on his nomination as Minister of State for Finance, Uzoka-Anite said she wishes him a smooth confirmation process and every success in the task ahead.

“As we continue to align planning, budgeting, and implementation across government, I look forward to working closely with the Honourable Minister, HE Abubakar Bagudu, the leadership of the Ministry, and stakeholders across the federation to advance national priorities, strengthen coordination, and accelerate inclusive growth.

“Thank you, Mr President, for your leadership and trust,” Uzoka-Anite added.
