“I am truly humbled” – Fani-Kayode reacts to his posting as Ambassador to Germany

The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the recent posting of Ambassadors to various countries by President Bola Tinubu.

Fani-Kayode who was nominated among several others as non-career and career ambassadors was posted to serve as Nigerian Ambassador to Germany.

Reacting to his posting to Germany, the former minister expressed gratitude to God for his new role.

In a post made on X, Fani-Kayode also thanks President Tinubu for what he described as a great honour which has been bestowed upon him.

He wrote, “I give God the glory for my posting as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, for this great honour that he has  bestowed upon me.”

Further stating that he feels truly humbled for such an opportunity, the former Minister prayed for God’s guidance and help in preparing for the new assignment.

He also asked to watch over and bless his home country, Nigeria even as he embarks on the new assignment handed to him by the president.

“I am truly humbled.

“May God lead, guide and prepare me for this new assignment and may He watch over, bless and protect my beloved homeland Nigeria now and always,” Fani-Kayode added.
