Tinubu’s campaign office gets facelift ahead of 2027 election

In preparation for the 2027 presidential election, the Abuja campaign office of President Bola Tinubu is undergoing a facelift.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the same office used by Tinubu during the 2023 presidential campaign appears to be the one he would use for his re-election bid.
A drive through the campaign office located in the Central Business District of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city reveals an ongoing renovation ahead of the campaign season.
The building housing the Bola Tinubu/ Kashim Shettima campaign office had been abandoned shortly after the 2023 polls.
However, activities by painters and other construction workers at the site have given some sort of life to the building.
Details also show that the painters had repainted the building in white and blue colours (the prominent colours of the All Progressives Congress logo and flag).
Also, the old painting usually seen at the entrance of the building has been scraped off for the application of a new one while a heap of sand was seen inside the compound.
Artisans within the building were also seen carrying out different activities from, wall scraping to plastering and screeding among many others.
These activities come days after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the official timetable for the 2027 election.
According to INEC, the presidential and National Assembly elections will now take place on Saturday, January 16, 2027; while the governorship and state Houses of Assembly polls have been scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 6, 2027.
