BREAKING: Tinubu Swears In Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially inaugurated Taiwo Oyedele as the Minister of State for Finance.

The brief but significant swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday at the State House in Abuja.

The President performed the ceremony in the presence of top government officials and members of the federal cabinet.

This formal inauguration follows Oyedele’s successful screening and confirmation by the Senate last Wednesday.

During his appearance before the lawmakers, the renowned tax expert had detailed his vision for a more robust and transparent fiscal framework for the nation.

Oyedele, who previously led the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, is stepping into his new role with a mandate to drive the administration’s economic agenda.

He replaces Doris Uzoka-Anite, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.
