JUST IN: APC retains zoning structure for 2026 national convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the existing zoning arrangement for National Working Committee (NWC) positions will remain in place for the party’s 2026 national convention.

Barr. Felix Morka, national publicity secretary of the ruling party, made the announcement in a statement issued on Monday.

Morka said the decision is in line with the party’s published schedule of nationwide congresses, national convention and related activities.

He said the zoning arrangement for NWC positions across states within the geopolitical zones remains valid for the upcoming convention.

“As contained in the published All Progressives Congress (APC) 2026 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses, National Convention, and Related Activities, the existing zoning arrangement for National working Committee positions across states within the geo-political zones remains valid and applicable to the upcoming National Convention.

“Accordingly, aspirants purchasing and submitting Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for national offices ahead of the National Convention are advised to be STRICTLY GUIDED by the existing zoning arrangement,” he said.
