Prince William, Princess Catherine meet Tinubu, Oluremi in UK [PHOTOS]

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, March 18, met with Prince William and Princess Catherine at the Fairmont Hotel in the United Kingdom.

Tinubu met with the duo alongside his wife, Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.

In a post made on X, the special adviser on information and strategy to the president Bayo Onanuga said Tinubu and his wife met the prince and the princess before their ride to Windsor Castle.

Onanuga wrote on X, “Prince William and Princess Catherine meet and greet the Nigerian leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu at Fairmont Hotel before the short ride to Windsor Castle, where their host, King Charles III, awaits them.”

Recall that President Tinubu and his wife arrived in the UK on Tuesday for a two-day visit at the instance of His Majesty King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla.

The president’s aircraft touched down at the London Stansted Airport at 3.18 pm as he was received by Mark Bevan, Deputy Lieutenant of Essex on behalf of the Royal Family.

Among those who also received the president and his wife were the acting High Commissioner of Nigeria to the UK, Ambassador Mohammed Maidugu, other senior officials, senators, governors and ministers.

Onanuga said, “President Tinubu and his wife will be hosted at Windsor Castle from Wednesday, March 18, to Thursday, March 19.

“The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and to explore investment opportunities for businessmen from both nations,” he noted.
