Vice President Kashim Shettima was among the thousands of Muslims who gathered to observe the Eid-el-Fitr Prayer, marking the end of Ramadan fasting.

According to State House Correspondent Abdulrrahman Jibrila, the prayer was held at Ramat Square in the Maiduguri metropolis. The event witnessed a large turnout of worshippers under tight security arrangements.

Vice President Shettima joined other prominent leaders and citizens in offering prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity in the nation.

The gathering reflected the resilient spirit of the people of Borno State, who came together despite security challenges, to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
