JUST IN: IGP approves redeployment of CPs across state commands, FCT

IGP Tunji Disu has approved a fresh round of postings involving several commissioners of police across commands nationwide.

The directive was contained in an internal wireless message marked “Most/Immediate” from the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja.

The signal instructed all relevant units and formations to update their records to reflect the new postings.

According to the directive, Haruna Alaba Yahaya has been posted to head JGS. Betty Enekpen Otimenyin has been deployed to welfare at the force headquarters. Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola has been assigned to the Oyo State command.

Yemi John Oyeniyi has been posted to the Delta State command. Olubode Ojajuni has been deployed to the Ogun State command. Michael Adegoroye Falade has been posted to the Ekiti State command.

Yakubu Useni Dankaro (ag.) has been assigned to the Adamawa State command. Aina Adesola has been redeployed to training under the department of training and development at the force headquarters.

Muhammed Sanusi Ahmed has been posted to the Federal Capital Territory command. Tijani Olaiwola Fatai has been assigned to the Lagos State command. Morkwap S. Dongshal has been deployed to the Taraba State command.

Ahmed Mohammed Bello has been posted to the Zamfara State command. Umar Ali Fagge has been assigned to the Katsina State command. Mayatu Shaffa Hassan has been posted to the Sokoto State command.

The police authorities said the postings take immediate effect.
