2027: Kwankwaso Meets ADC Leaders Ahead of Planned Defection

The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday met with the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Rauf Aregbesola.

Sources indicate that the meeting is part of ongoing consultations as Kwankwaso moves closer to concluding talks with the party’s leadership ahead of a planned defection to the ADC.

After his engagement with Aregbesola, Kwankwaso also held discussions with ADC leaders from Kano at his Abuja residence.

The development comes shortly after he hosted former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Sunday.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Kwankwaso further disclosed that Senator Seriake Dickson, who represents Bayelsa West Senatorial District, was among those who visited his Kano residence.
