BREAKING: President Tinubu to visit Plateau over killings in Jos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will travel to Jos, capital of Plateau State, to commiserate with residents following recent gun attacks that claimed the lives of civilians.

This information was disclosed inn a statement issued on Wednesday by the president’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga.

Onanuga said Tinubu postponed his scheduled trip to Iperu in Ogun State to prioritise the visit, noting that the president had initially planned to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport in Iperu.

He said after the Plateau state visit, the president will travel to Lagos to observe the Good Friday holiday.

Onanuga further stated President Tinubu is scheduled to travel to Ogun State on April 4 to commission the Gateway International Cargo Airport.

He added that before returning to Abuja, Tinubu will visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission projects completed by Governor Duoye Diri.
