JUST IN: One killed as fresh crisis hits Jos

A fresh crisis, on Wednesday, April 1, erupted in Nasarawa Gwom, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

A horrific video seen by POLITICS NIGERIA showed a man being attacked and killed instantly with sticks by some hoodlums, while motorists and passers-by scampered for safety.

Sources privy to the incident said the tension in the city escalated after a lady was allegedly found dead around Farin Gada with a warning message written on her chest.

Although details of the message attached to the lady’s body are yet to be ascertained, sources said the crisis has spread across areas such as Terminus, Nasarawa Gwom, Farin Gada, Gada Bui, Filin Ball, and its environs.

This attack in Nasarawa Gwom comes hours after some yet-to-be-identified gunmen invaded the Gari Ya Waye area of Angwan Rukuba in the same Jos North LGA.

The gunmen who banged on doors and opened fire on residents of the community killed more than 20 people and injuring several others.
