US President, Donald Trump To Miss Son’s Wedding Over Government Duties

United States President Donald Trump has announced that he will not attend the wedding of his son, Donald Trump Jr., citing government responsibilities and his commitment to the United States.

Trump made this known in a post shared on his Truth account this Friday, where he said affairs of state would prevent him from attending the wedding of Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée, Bettina Anderson.

The U.S. president said the country was passing through an important period that required his continued presence at the White House.

Trump, however, congratulated his son and his fiancée on their upcoming wedding despite his planned absence from the ceremony.
