“Nigerians still trust your experience” – Malami congratulates Atiku for securing ADC presidential ticket
Former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has congratulated Atiku Abubakar on his victory at the presidential primary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement issued on Thursday, Malami described the victory as a reflection of the confidence Nigerians still repose in Atiku’s leadership.
“I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, GCON, Waziri Adamawa, on his resounding victory at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election,” he said.
Malami, the ADC governorship candidate in Kebbi state, said Atiku’s emergence came at a critical moment in Nigeria’s political history.
“This remarkable triumph is yet another confirmation of the immense confidence Nigerians continue to repose in your experience, courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of our dear nation,” he said.
Malami said the outcome of the primary reflected the aspirations of Nigerians seeking economic revival, justice and national cohesion.
“Your emergence as the flagbearer of the ADC at this critical moment in our national history reflects the collective aspiration of millions of Nigerians who seek purposeful leadership, economic revival, justice, stability, and national cohesion,” he said.
He added that the support recorded during the primary showed that Atiku’s message resonated across the country.
“The enthusiasm, momentum, and overwhelming support witnessed throughout the primary process clearly demonstrate that your message of hope and national rebirth resonates deeply across every region of the country.
“As you march forward into the next phase of this democratic journey, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine guidance in your quest to build a more prosperous, secure, and united Nigeria,” he stated.
