2027: “God directed me to support President Tinubu” – Actor Yul Edochie
Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie has said his support for President Bola Tinubu is based on a divine directive from God.
Speaking as a guest on The Honest Bunch podcast, Edochie disclosed that God has explicitly shown him whom to support in the 2027 presidential election.
A vocal supporter of the president since the 2023 election, Edochie said he remains committed to Tinubu in line with the instruction he claims to have received from God.
“God has always shown me who to support, and He keeps showing me Tinubu,” he said. “I am going to stand by him.”
The actor’s unwavering support for President Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to attract heavy criticism from many Nigerians on social media.
When asked whether God, as a spiritual being, gets involved in political affairs and elections, Edochie answered affirmatively.
“I don’t know if He is involved on your side, but He is involved in mine; He showed me where to go,” he said.
