JUST IN: Governor Adeleke Moves to Secure Osun, Reveals Steps

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has announced an upgrade to the state’s security architecture.
The governor in a statement on Tuesday, outlined proactive measures to protect local communities and schools.
The development comes on the heels of the mass abduction of pupils and teachers in neighbouring Oyo State, a crisis that recently prompted Oyo public school teachers to embark on an indefinite strike to demand the rescue of those still held in captivity.
The governor also stated that he has personally contacted the Osun State Traditional Council of Obas through the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, to schedule a meeting with all traditional rulers across the state, describing them as critical partners in community intelligence gathering.
“Securing our schools, our communities, and our people is non-negotiable,” Adeleke stated. “We are deploying intelligence gathering, strategic collaboration, and coordinated action to protect every inch of the state. To the good people of Osun: we are watching. We are working. And we will not relent. If you see something, say something.”
