Sowore Reveals Details of Meeting With Kwankwaso After Police Attack in Abuja [VIDEO]

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has shared details of an encounter with the former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, following a police confrontation in Abuja.
Sowore stated on X that he met Kwankwaso, who is also Peter Obi’s 2027 running mate, at a wedding ceremony for the daughter of a friend.
According to Sowore, Kwankwaso noted that he was aware of the incident during the June 12 Democracy Day protest, where police personnel used tear gas to disperse the crowd, causing Sowore to collapse.

The encounter follows Friday’s protest in the Federal Capital Territory, which was organized to draw attention to deteriorating national security and recent killings across the country.
Eyewitnesses reported that the demonstration turned chaotic when police officers deployed tear gas canisters to stop the crowd from moving beyond a designated boundary. Sowore, who was at the forefront of the march, inhaled the substance and collapsed at the scene.
