Ekiti 2026: Gov Uzodimma congratulates Oyebanji on re-election victory

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has congratulated Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election for a second term as Governor of Ekiti State.

Uzodimma described Oyebanji’s victory in the just-concluded Ekiti Governorship election as a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence, trust, and appreciation for his leadership and the achievements of his administration.

He said the governor’s re-election also reflects the growing strength of Nigeria’s democracy and shows that citizens are increasingly rewarding leaders who deliver tangible results and promote good governance.

“Our democracy is growing, incrementally, and leadership is being provided.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC), as a party ably led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu… we are very happy and excited that, despite all the bickering here and there, the President has remained focused on providing leadership,” Uzodimma said.

He added that President Tinubu has continued to drive meaningful reforms and sustainable development across the country.

The Imo Governor further congratulated the APC leadership and its members, while praying for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Oyebanji as he begins his second term in office.
