If It Were Africa, They’d Call It Instability — Tinubu’s Aide Reacts to Resignation of UK Prime Minister

The special assistant to President Bola Tinubu on media and publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has criticized Western double standards regarding political stability following the resignation of United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday.
Ajayi made the remark in a post via X on Monday.
The presidential aide pointed out that African nations face harsh economic and political labels from global entities under similar circumstances.
The comment came after Starmer announced his resignation outside 10 Downing Street, stepping down as both prime minister and leader of the Labour Party.
Starmer noted that he had informed King Charles III of his decision.
“Every decision I have made has been about putting the country I love first,” he said.
