Angry parent allegedly beats female teacher to death in Kogi

A female teacher has been allegedly beaten to death by an irate parent in Ugbamaka, Okpo District of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Kogi State.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-terrorism expert and security analyst, reported via social media that the deceased was attacked by the father of one of her students.

According to Makama, the father confronted and violently assaulted the teacher after she disciplined his child.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and renewed concerns about the safety of teachers and the growing disrespect for educators in the country.

“This heartbreaking incident raises serious questions about the future of education and the protection of teachers,” Makama said.

He added that the education sector appears to be under threat if teachers can no longer discipline students without fearing for their lives.

“Authorities are expected to thoroughly investigate the incident and ensure that justice is served,” he said.
