Ex-Minister Nnaji Arrives Court for Alleged Certificate Forgery Trial

Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, on Monday arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja for his arraignment over alleged certificate forgery charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.

The anti-graft agency is expected to formally arraign the former minister on charges bordering on alleged certificate forgery and making false declarations in documents submitted to public authorities.

Nnaji was arrested on July 1, 2026, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The arrest was carried out with the assistance of operatives of the Department of State Services, after which he was handed over to the ICPC for further investigation before the filing of the charges.
