The Bauchi state government has suspended Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman, the Emir of Misau over the crisis that led to the death of nine persons in his kingdom.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that a communal clash occurred on Monday between herders and farmers in Zadawa village in Misau LGA of the state which resulted in deaths and severe injuries.
It was learned that the clash was over the ownership of land used by herders for grazing over the years but was later allocated to farmers by the authorities.
But in a statement released by the Government House, the state governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, also suspended the District Heads of Chiromah and Zadawa villages.
The statement noted that the governor had also set up a 13-man investigative panel to resolve the communal clash.
Recall that the governor had on Tuesday suspended the Caretaker Chairman of Misau LGA, Yaro Gwaram, his deputy, Baidu Kafin-Misau, and Secretary of the council, Usman Abdu.
