Five days after the Ondo State security network agency, Amotekun Corps, said it arrested some people it suspects of carrying out the terror attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, the Police at Force headquarters has said to the best of its knowledge, no suspect had been arrested.
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the terrorist attack killed 40 worshippers and injured many others.
According to the Police on Tuesday, nobody was handed over to its personnel.
Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi who made this revelation at a briefing today (Tuesday) said the Special Squad dispatched to Owo to investigate the attack has not made any arrest other than the unexploded Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) it recovered from the scene of the attack.
“When the Nigerian Police Force arrest any suspect, we will let you (the public) know. For now we have not done anything like that (arrested anybody)”, Adejobi said.
What an effrontery entrenched in incompetence and
POLICE COULD COME OUT TO THE PUBLIC WITH INFORMATION ABOUT ITS INACTIVENESS WITH INEFFECTIVE EXERCISES TO PROVIDE SECURITY TO THE CITIZENRY.
No arrest after how many weeks after incident. We might even be expecting too much form this outfit. How many crimes have they resolved? Including, the murder of the high-ranking law officer, whilst in office. The AG Bola Ige.
This is no less than full pride in mediocrity. The SHAMELESS bunch.
