Deji Adeyanju, a prominent public commentator, on Tuesday, said Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election should disclose if he is eyeing a ministerial role.
POLITICS NIGERIA had reported that Obi met with some chieftains of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
While details of the meeting with opposition members are still unclear, Adeyanju, a strong critic of Obi, condemned the former Anambra State governor for “romancing them daily”.
If the opposition want to come together to challenge the ruling party, it is understandable but stop insulting your own intelligence by saying APC & PDP are not an option but your messiah is romancing them daily. If he wants a ministerial appointment in 2023, he should say so.

“If the opposition want to come together to challenge the ruling party, it is understandable but stop insulting your own intelligence by saying APC and PDP are not an option but your messiah (referring to Obi) is romancing them daily,” Adeyanju wrote on his known Twitter handle.
He added: “If he (Obi) wants a ministerial appointment in 2023, he should say so.”
