FCT Minister Wike Reveals How He Monitors What His Enemies Are Saying About Him

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has opened up on how he keeps track of criticism and public discussions about his leadership, revealing that he personally monitors what he described as comments from his “enemies.”
Wike made this known while speaking with journalists in Abuja. He explained that he does not rely on aides or reports from associates to stay informed.
Instead, he follows news broadcasts himself to understand what is being said about him across the country.
The minister said he regularly watches major Nigerian television stations.
According to him, this includes stations like Africa Independent Television, TVC News, and Channels Television. He noted that staying updated directly helps him get accurate information without any form of distortion.
He further revealed that his routine often stretches late into the night. Wike explained that even after a long day, he still makes time to revisit news broadcasts before going to bed.
This, he said, ensures that he is fully aware of ongoing conversations and criticisms surrounding his office and activities.
“I watch news all the time, AIT News, I will watch, TVC News, Channels, I watch all of them.
“I don’t wait for anyone to come and tell me what my enemies are saying about me, I hear it by myself.
“So you can see that I know the time, even by 12 I still come back to watch everything, I make sure that I watch before I go and sleep.”
