The All Progressives Congress, APC has mocked a former member of the House of Representatives, Farouk Lawan over his recent 7 year conviction.
Lawan was convicted on Tuesday for receiving a $500,000 bribe from billionaire, Femi Otedola in order to exempt his company, Zenon oil and gas from a Fuel Subsidy fraud probe in 2012.
Reacting to the development, the party wrote on its social media page; “[SHAME] From House of Reps (National Assembly) to House of Rapscallions (Kuje Prisons Assembly).What a SHAME!”
“If you do the crime, you will surely do the time!!!”. Lawan was immediately conveyed from the court room to Kuje prisons to begin his sentence.
