Renowned Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has financially supported the grieving family of the late singer Mohbad.
According to PM News, the 27-year-old artist, whose passing on Tuesday sent shockwaves through the music industry, received a helping hand from the superstar in his final journey.
Davido, known for his philanthropic endeavours, contributed N2 million to the family by sending it to the late singer’s father through someone, according to the report.
The Grammy-winning artist took it upon himself to ensure that the family received much-needed financial support, especially given the circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of the rising star.
Mohbad featured Davido in one of his songs titled ‘Once Debe.’
The mid-tempo soundtrack was one of the songs on the late singer’s EP, now the third on the Apple Music streaming platform.
