Atiku Reacts To Death Of Two Doctors Who Died Of COVID-19

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the death of Emeka Chugbo and Aliyu Yakubu, two medical doctors who died of COVID-19.

Mr Abubakar, who took to his Twitter page on Thursday morning, mourned the deaths of the two medical practitioners.

POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported how Dr Emeka, a private medical doctor, died after being exposed to a coronavirus patient.

“I commiserate with @nmanigeria over the death of Dr Emeka Chugbo and Dr Aliyu Yakubu,” Abubakar wrote.

He further stated that the deceased cases reinforce the need to intensify the supply of all necessities, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect medical personnel.

“When we lose critical medical personnel in the frontline, we inadvertently compromise the fight against #COVID19.”

On Wednesday evening, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it recorded a new death but did not provide more details.As at the time of filing this report, 12 persons have died among the 407 Covid-19 cases confirmed in Nigeria.

    SIR, not only that, they should equally be taking some doses and medications of those they are treating whether they contact the disease or not. Since the disease is as wicked as such, those treating corona virus should as well be receiving the same medication for the virus in case of the virus escaping and entering inside them. What a wicked virus!!!!!!!!. RIP TO THE VICTIMS.
