Senator Shehu Sani, the lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, has said that the Nigerian government’s blockade of telecom services is ineffective, as bandits are still carrying out attacks.

According to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member, Nigeria’s present leaders “have run out of ideas”.

“The suspension of telecom services has not prevented the massacre of 18 worshippers in a mosque in Niger state by terrorists.Same with the 40 killed in Sokoto last week. Those who should provide leadership have run out of ideas,” Sani wrote on his known Twitter handle on Tuesday.
