The factional leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has blasted President Muhammadu Buhari over the lockdown order against social gatherings including mosques.
Mr Shekau spoke in an audio recording obtained by a conflict reporting newspaper, HumAngle based in Abuja.
He disclosed that “Buhari said because there’s no Hajj, Papa Roma could only celebrate Easter with 10 people, therefore we have to stop our people from moving for their own good. It’s evil to lock down people.
“The evil you do is what brought this, stop blaming anything, whatever this is, may God protect us.”
Mr Shekau also said that his members are immune to the virus.
He added: “We pray five times a day, we pray Jummu’a, we sleep with our families, we hug, we shake hands, we are fine, fine fine.
“We have anti-virus while you are infected with the coronavirus, we have anti-coronavirus; it is the Allah we worship. We pray, we slash fornicators, we cut hands (meaning punishment for thieves).
“In the times of infidels like Trump, Idris Derby with the goat eye, Buhari, Muhammad Issoufu, the dog of the hands of France. Children of pigs and monkeys. If you don’t repent you will be finished.
“Just look at it, they stopped you from Umrah and Hajj, even the fasting they are telling you that corona season needs a lot of drinking water.
“We know that we stay at places where we won’t get infected, (referring to Sambisa Forest), even though we don’t get the right information about this.
“It is just a calamity befalling the people. I want to enlighten the world, even though they are blocking our information, God still has ways of delivering it.
“You only hear of Corona, but you are telling Muslims not to pray and you close mosques”.
Look at this foolish shekau never ever call your self Muslim again. As fool as you are blasting people who are better than you. Islam is all about piece not pieces but look at have you’ve cause to terminate many sacred souls. In the Qur’an Allah says whosoever kills a Muslim for no reason will be chased to hell fire. So please how many Muslim did you killed? Uncountable please don’t call your self and your scesscionists Muslims again. Fool.
Muslims and non Muslim (christians) shouldn’t be killed. Nothing justifies the act.
