BREAKING: Unknown Gunmen attack Apostle Suleman, 7 shot dead [PHOTOS]

No fewer than 4 Police Officers together with three others have been gruesomely murdered in cold blood on Friday at Water Tanker Junction, Warrake Road, Auchi, after unknown Gunmen opened fire on a convoy belonging to Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General overseer of Omega Fire Ministries.

The incident reportedly transpired at about 5pm when the gunmen who eyewitnesses say were in a grey Sienna vehicle without number plates opened fire at the homecoming convoy of Apostle Suleman who has been away from the country.

Johnson’s vehicle is said to have been littered with bullets leading to the deflation of his vehicle’s tires but was able to coast to safety.

However, his security personnel were badly mutilated by the hail of bullets.

Suleman was said to have returned from a crusade in Tanzania shortly before the attack

An eyewitness told the press that after shooting sporadically for minutes, they (the gunmen) collected the arms of the slain Police Officers and sped off through the Warrake part of the road.

Speaking on the matter, Suleman’s lawyer, Samuel Amune, said: “He was returning from a journey and he had almost gotten on the shores of Auchi when some assassins attacked him.

“Three of his police orderlies, among others died.

“He travelled before and just finished a programme in Tanzania day before yesterday.”

“He was returning to Auchi when the gunmen attacked him along Sabingida down to Warake area, and Auchi shares direct boundary with Warake.”

The Police and officers of the army have since taken over the scene to calm the nerves of frightened residents, assuring them of security while investigations have begun to bring the criminals to book.
