Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appointed a former lawmaker, Paul Biam, as his Chief of Staff.
Politics Nigeria can authoritatively report that Governor Hyacinth also picked Moses Ode as the Head of Service while Prof. Joseph Alakali was appointed Secretary to the State Government.
The Christian cleric-cum-politician chose Dr Emmanuel Chenge as his Principal Private Secretary and Tersoo Kula, a former Blueprint reporter, as his Chief Press Secretary.
According to a press statement by Mr Kula, “the appointments take immediate effect; and more appointments are expected.”
Governor Hyacinth of the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated Titus Uba of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to emerge winner of the keenly contested election.
