BREAKING: Popular Senator, Buruji Kashamu is Dead

Senator Buruji Kashamu is dead. POLITICS NIGERIA just gathered that the popular Ogun Senator died from COVID-19 Complications.

His death has also been confirmed by Senator Ben Murray Bruce. The former Bayelsa Senator wrote on Twitter;

“I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable.”

“He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.”

Senator Buruji represented Ogun East in the 8th National Assembly. Born on May 19, 1958, Kashamu was a popular businessman and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP until his death.
