A former speaker of the Edo state house of Assembly, Kabiru Adjoto has warned the governor of Imo state and chairman of the APC Edo state election committee, Hope Uzodinma to stay away from the state.
Adjoto, a fiery grassroots politician made the comment to newsmen on Friday after the state governor, Godwin Obaseki formally defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Adjoto disclosed that the people of Edo are ready and will block Uzodinma from gaining entrance into the state.
“Hope Uzodinma should hand over to his deputy before coming to Edo.”
“He should think twice before embarking on a journey that may negatively affect him for life. Edo is not Imo. We shall resist him and stop him from entering Edo”.
“He should pray with his wives and children before leaving Imo. He should be ready to eat as lunch uncooked vulture eggs while in Edo.” he said.
