Multiple explosions rocked Galadiman, Kogo area, near Shiroro dam in Shiroro Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger state.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the explosion happened at about 12 noon on Tuesday.
As of the time of publishing this report, the casualty figure could not be ascertained as the affected areas are not yet accessible due to fear of further possible explosions.
The explosion is coming after a blast that occurred in the same community in 2022.
Niger is one of the northern states most hit by insurgency.
Last Friday, terrorists killed Saleh Yakubu, the Councillor representing Allawa ward in the same Shiroro LGA.
Also, the Chairman of the council, Akilu Isyaku Kuta escaped an ambush by some outlaws on Sunday.
