    1. This is interference on a duly elected Gov. loved by the people. Tinubu and Wike must allow Fubara breath. The 27 lawmakers can’t impeach Fubara because they lost their seats already. And Fubara must not allow the resigned Commissioners back. What kind of country is this? This is not Jagaban rebublic

    1. The resolutions does not favor the governor. If he agrees to the terms, it will only be a matter of time before the reabsorbed members of parliament will regroup and ultimately impeach him.
For now the odds are on his favour, he should capitalize on it and consolidate his stand. Anything short of that will see the APC sweeping him out of office.
Let Fubara be wise and act accordingly.

    1. This so called agreement looks more like return to status quo. This is not good for the sitting governor and it is equally not good for our democracy. The governor has every right to appoint his own commissioners if he wants to govern well. These people in his cabinet are there to spy on him. They do not have the interest of Rivers people at heart. The governor does not command their loyalty which is only to their godfather.

    1. Sim and his team may have accepted and signed the agreement but the people of Rivers State will kick against this.

I don’t know why it’s hard for Sim to chase Wike out of Rivers State? He is loved already by his people. His got the full support of his people across party line. This agreement will not stand.

It has Wike name written all over it

    2. The motion is tactically set for Governor Fubara to either join the APC or someday be impeached by these 27 lawmakers, They will try make governance hard for him, They have already caged this Governor and this is not going to be good for Rivers people, APC plan to take Rivers State is now manifest

    3. Thanks for what? No surprise, the usual mischievous nature of your kind Mr Akin Akinkugbe and this is setting this country backward, Can’t you see your people and Nigeria as a whole are suffering because of people like you who play mischievous politics? Your Buhari has come your change came and now your Jagaban with no meaningful progress you are here talking rubbish because you want to gag Rivers State and Governor Fubara to become APC, this same APC with nothing good

  1. This does not favour Gov. Fubara. Just that they should not impeach the Gov. This return everything to Wike. Fubara must chose his own commissioners, Gov Fubara must not allocate any money from Rivers state Treasury to Wike. Gov Fubara must be allowed to breath else the crisis will persist. The 27 Law makers that have lost their seats can’t impeach Gov Fubara. No mention was made of the 5 Lawmakers of which Ehie is the Speaker. This is nonsense.

    1. May God of THUNDER Destroy your Life there.
      FOoool….
What has ROTIMI AMEACHI got to do with the Present Political Crisis in Rivers State?

    2. You are talking rubbish my friend if you don’t no what to say I will advise you to kindly keep your mouth shut

  2. All the resolutions favour’s fubara.
He has actually breached the constitution which is enough reasons for impeachment.
    There’s no Victor nor Vanquish.

    1. May God of THUNDER Destroy your Life there.
      FOoool….
What has ROTIMI AMEACHI got to do with the Present Political Crisis in Rivers State?

  3. Is Fubara stupid to accept these conditions? He doesn’t know the powers and jobs of a governor then. Would Tinubu or Wike accept this kind of condition if they were in Fubara’s shoes? They have imposed all the nonsense on the guy. These are the things we spoke against and have been fighting to stop in Rivers – undue interference in the governance of Rivers. With this nonsense accord, how will Fubera give Rivers people the good things that Wike denied them for 8 years with his selfish style of government and the maladministration that Rivers people suffered under him?.

Let me warn Sim : with this accord, you have lost your powers and freedom to work as governor. You will end up a failure like Wike. And you will lose the support of many Rivers people.

    1. The peace brokered by president Tinubu is a welcome development. Most Nigerians talk much about constitution/law and whereas majority of them are unrepentant breachers of the nation’s rules/regulations. What could be more than an amicable settlement initiated by the president and somebody is saying it is unconstitutional? Should anyone else be in the shoe of Siminalayi and resorts to the contrary would be inviting anarchy in the state.

  4. Fubara don’t sleep wake up. They’re trying to follow backyard entered your main door… Wake up.. This is politics.. Trust no one… If you’re sleeping don’t close your eyes. They’re trying to perfect their impeachment saga. Be wise…

  5. In the first place I must thank MR. PRESIDENT for strict fatherly resolutions. Justice is a cognitive instrument for conflict resolutions as sometimes you may think is bias. At this point I think there is no victor no vanguished. The resolutions are tasteful to all. Everyone Needs Freedom. It’s been given to all and to maintain status quo. Conflicts of interest among man is innate. MR. PRESIDENT himself has been an activist that has been championing human rights for the past decades, so conflict resolutions I consider, to MR PRESIDENT is a piece of cake.. I will beg MR. GOVERNOR not to have issues with anyone particularly his predecessor owing to the huddles he passed through to go against the will of orders in making him a Governor. Let him for ever be grateful to God for using his predecessor to make him a Governor today. Is the time of sacrifice for MR. GOVERNOR please. I Love you and your master. I was a member of PDP but I found justice in APC where some level of certainty plays out and decided to pitch my tent. Because it is my conviction that people like MR PRESIDENT have been rigid for civil rule and, an activist alongside Gani,Falana,Taisolarin among others were the Mandelas and Stive Bikos of Nigeria during military regime. MR GOVERNOR I plead you and your master as you use to call, who is your leader go same direction. Do not look for support of anyone order than the one that brought you on track he has just left to avoid getting into monkey water, that would cost you guys a stink of the gutter. Your predecessor have grown and have seen what you have not and will not hesitate to put every corrective measures in place no matter the odds to protect yourself and himself and your political family. This is my contribution to this issues . Finally Bayelsa APC needs Justice Like This which has to do with a sense of belonging.. Lack of justice in our victories are sometimes worrisome. The victory of a soldier after battle front ought to be always celebrated. Every hard working and results oriented person can be liking to be a soldier in victory. Thanks everyone.

    1. The likes of you are destroying this country. That’s why each one is worse than the former. None is thinking straight. If this twisted sense of justice is not corrected, then this country is closer to the grave than it was

  6. This is nonsense, Wike and his team knew they had lost the battle since the matter was in court already, he quickly use his political thief friend to cover up, wike or tinubu can never accept this if they were in Fubara’s shoe, APC government don’t have any good plans for Nigeria, why can’t the President also inter vain in Kano state too?

  7. Congratulations to all Rivers people God almighty will continue to protect our dear state always in Jesus name amen. Sim / wike God bless you all.

  8. Wike should emulate president Muhamadu Buhari who had finished his 8 years in office and avoid the temptation of putting his native Katsina and Nigeria on fire because of parochial political interest. All this hullabaloo and frenzy by Mr Wike and his yes men in Rivers are demonic. It is the handy work of Mephistopheles.

  9. Arrant nonesense! Everything here except dropping of impeachment proceedings, favours Wike. Mr Fubara, I’m not from Rivers State but returning to status quo is a very bad idea. This feud has gone beyond repairs, I want to believe you did not accept this injustice from INEC-made President.

  10. To settle any political dispute, the Constitution must be at the center of all resolutions. The Constitution remains our guide to govern if the resolutions reached violate the Constitution, it is still a threat to democracy.

  11. To settle any political dispute, the Constitution must be at the center stage of all resolutions. The Constitution remains our guide to govern and if the resolutions reached violate the Constitution, it is remains a threat to democracy.

  12. Nigerians are now in Egypt, one day go be one day, old woman go go market, he no go fit come back for this country.

  13. You called these one resolution, hmmm For me these strategy is what they are going to use to remove the governor, fubara should remember once beaten twice shy, now he knows his enemies and he should prepare is long spoon to dine with his enemies.

  14. Some Nigerian especially the lovers of Fubara are just looking at the whole situation as a situation the governor can win from their arrogant point of view.
First, the governor himself has breached the Constitution. There is an esparte order that is stopping Inec and the governor from declaring the seat of 27 lawmakers vacant.
Let us not forget that Constitution allowed them to defect if there is crisis in the party.
The chances that the Apex court will declear the seat of the 27 defectors vacant is very slim if we are to go by what has happened in the past.
Yeah..the resolution might not have favored him but certainly he can’t get a better landing than this.

Above all, we should stop glorifying the habit of betrayal no matter what

    1. This is mischievous nonsense and lack of proper understanding from you or an act of your usual nature, The south South and southeast region have never and will never expect less from your kind

    2. So there’s also section in the constitution that allows INEC to refuse transparency in electoral process and to forge and pronounce any results without being questioned. When you talk about constitution, let’s talk about it in-depth. You people put your selfish self-interest before the good of the country. It’s a pity

  15. This is total rubbish…allow APC member superintend over a PDP state….they left their seat for God’s sake …this is rubbish…he has set the stage for PDP to fall in Rivers State….i didn’t expect a fair judgement anyway

  16. This is not a resolution but death trap for the governor. How can the defected speaker and his defected members be recognised when the supreme Court clearly made a statement about such defection. Why will the president be pokenosing into the administration of governance in Rivers state.

  17. Thanks Mr President for your fatherly approach. Even though the resolution looks messy to Fubara but it has saved him from impeachment. The reality is that your opposition now have the greatest number and if that drama continues, you are out, people will come back and blame you.
Go and sin no more and follow advise from reasonable people.

  18. My comments may not as many would love it to sound. For me if I am in the governor’s shoes, I will resign, so that Almighty Wike, the life Ruler/Governor can bring the puppet he wants to finally Clean the Plate he had been eating from while he ruled River State.

  19. This is not good how on earth will the governor welcome this thief’s back the same people that wanted to kill him? What kind of country is this, Mr president are you sure you are ok? Because this will not work it will never work if you are planning to kill my brother e no work
