Hours after the Kano governorship election tribunal sacked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, traders across major markets in Kano shut their shops and rushed home.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the tribunal declared Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the duly elected governor of the state.
Some of the places where traders suspended activities were Sabon Gari, Kantin Kwari, and Singer markets.
