BREAKING: Niger Delta backs South-East for 2023 Presidency [FULL DETAILS]

The coalition of Niger Delta youth leaders Forum has announced its support for an Igbo presidency in 2023.

According to a statement sent to POLITICS NIGERIA, jointly signed by Dr Abiye Douglas, National President Coalition of Niger Delta Youth leaders forum, Comrade Obinna Achionye, Deputy President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide, and Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, Secretary-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide, the Igbo Presidency Project 2023 will address the current insecurity and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

The Statement read;

“The leadership of Coalition of Niger Delta Youth leaders forum led by Dr Abyie Dogulas had Paid a solidarity Visit to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide led by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro at Abakiliki Ebonyi State today 2nd July 2019, to formally strengthen the unifying Bond existing between the South East and South-South Nigeria, as brothers tied with one destiny and will remain United against any external aggression and will Protect the two zones from the neferious activities of the Armed herdsmen and ensure that the two zones remain peaceful and prosperous to attract foreign investors and Tourists to the zones.”

“Coalition of Niger Delta Youth leaders Forum is fully Committed to the 2023 Igbo Presidency Project and appreciate the robust leadership style of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide towards ensuring that the project is not only for Igbos alone but ensure that other political zones are fully integrated into the 2023 Igbo Presidency Project, for equity, Fairness and Justice and We believe that Igbo Presidency Project will address the current insecurity and economic challenges bedevilled our beloved nation, Nigeria, only an Igbo Presidency 2023 will restore Nigeria back to the comity of Nations as truly the Giant of Africa.”

“Niger Delta appreciates the support of the South East during the Ex-President Good luck Jonathon Tenure, We are not forget in a hurry the tremendous and Overwhelming support gotten from Igbos during Jonathan’s era and assured it’s the turn of South-South to reciprocate the same Support to Igbo Presidency Project 2023, and Urge the South West to allow Southeast produce the next President, since Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had taken a fair share of the Yorubas between 1999/2007 and equally President Buhari had equally honoured late Chief Mko Abiola and appease them with June 12th democracy day.”

“The North should honour the gentleman agreement that has existed since 1999 of Power Rotation between North and South, that it’s the turn to South East to produce the next President 2023, and We Urge the Northern Elders forum to desist from any political agitation that will make Biafra a success by 2025,any gang up against the South East will strengthen the realization of Sovereign State of Biafra, urging that if Igbos are denied the 2023 Igbo Presidency Project, alternatively Biafra will be realized without any another Civil War, and Niger Delta will be on the side of Biafrans if Igbo Presidency Project 2023 is denied.”

“We insist that power must rotate between North and South, and the only zone yet to get the Presidency in the Southern Nigeria is the South East.”

“Responding to the visitors, The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council worldwide, the President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro represented by the Deputy President, Comrade Obinna Achionye, informed the visitors that:” We are overwhelmed with Large delegation of Over 150 Youths from different States of Niger Delta to Press on the legitimate demand for South East to produce the next President Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023 as a New dimension towards ensuring that Nigeria remains as one entity beyond 2023, and We have eminently qualified personalities both in APC and PDP to actualized the Nigeria President of Igbo Extraction,We are expecting another delegation from South West and Middle belt Youths on the same project, as we are committed in building bridges across the Niger to ensure Nigerians are United in the Igbo Presidency Project 2023.”

“We are advising Presidency to halt further Persecution of Dame Patience Jonathan and Jonathan’s Family, bad precedence is being set up by the continuous humiliation of Dame Patience Jonathan, and Urge her to appeal on the current Judgement of the Lagos high court as the judgement is a miscarriage of Justice.”
