BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu speaks after losing in court [VIDEO]

Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday said the verdict of Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, denying him bail and adjourning his trial is ‘expected’.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the IPOB leader has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja since his rearrest in Kenya in 2021.

Kanu was speaking shortly after Tuesday’s court session which went against him.

The 54-year-old separatist leader asked the people of the southeast region to “remain calm” and make the zone peaceful.

“It is what we expect. But I want our people to be very calm. I want Biafraland to be calm and very peaceful. We are fighting to defend our people, not to kill them.

“We are fighting to defend them, that’s why I’m here. And we will continue to do so until we get victory,” Kanu said.

    1. My dear, it has not gotten to that extent. Nobody will lose. With or without Biafra, with or without Nigeria, we will remain humans and we need peaceful coexistence, equity and justice. God bless Nigeria and Biafran to come.

  2. WHERE ARE THE LITTLE FELLOW COUNSELS WHO DISPLAYED THE MENTALITY OF BABIES EARLIER?

I was expecting another frenzy in buffoonery of his lawyers including the SAN Ozekhome. You will recall I predicted the second leg of the case that is yet to come to any meaningful conclusion, whilst the defense team looked like unserious carnival clowns in court immediately after the last session.

They have suddenly gone into HIDING.

    1. My dear, fighting for freedom is not easy. Maazi Nnamdi Kanu will forever be a Biafran hero if he doesn’t give up. We love him. Moreover, do you expect him to win against Nigeria in Nigerian court by Nigerian justice. It’s rarely possible. Nigeria has no case against that’s why the case is lingering. We can at least tell ourselves the truth. God Bless you, God bless Nigeria, God bless Biafran.
